Ghent, NY— Zen meditation meets improvised chamber music on March 2nd at the Omi International Arts Center. A candlelight concert will feature Chemical Composition (Constance Cooper on piano, Thomas Desisto on electric guitar, and John Cacciatore on percussion), joined by guest artist Jeffrey Lependorf playing traditional Japanese shakuhachi and Chinese xiao and bawu bamboo flutes. The result will be an hour of ethereal new music in the spectacular Charles B. Benenson Visitor Center of The Fields Sculpture Park. Complimentary prosecco, mulled cider and homemade cookies will be served. The concert celebrates the release of NOTES ARE RAIN, TIMBRE IS SNOW, the new CD from the ensemble.
